I'm not even going to post pics my tie finds from last week, they'd apparently get no love at all. Eaze's I like well enough, but I just don't understand Cap's Zegna.

Mine were pretty boring - Navy blue shantung, brown linen, and a pretty boring Bergdorf Goodman neat.

The other ties do make me ask this question, however:
When a tie feels like the lining and the silk are somehow out of alignment to one another, what has happened and can it be fixed easily? I saw a Brioni the other day and passed because it had this issue (which I haven't really described well) and it wasn't a pattern I cared much for anyway (too much geometry going on). If the pattern is good, though, is this problem salvageable?

Went thrifting to help some friends of mine seriously up their style game. Ended up coming home with a Yukali vintage leather moto/racing jacket (pics tonight when im home from work). Its beat up and wonderfully distressed, fits impeccably. I paid for it with labor (friend bought a leather armchair for $30 and I carried with with him 5 blocks and up 7 flights of stairs haha, oh the adventures of youth) and the promise of beer; price was $45. My question is, is that a fail in terms of paying that much for the piece (even though I technically paid nothing and my final cost will likely be sub $30)? I hadn't heard of Yukali before but a lot of searching yielded that they don't do to bad on ebay, but I really can't find much on the brand, quality, etc itself. Seems like some really good quality, vintage leather, but I'm not a big leather guy so I figured I'd try on here for more enlightening responses to my queries.

Vielen Dank!

Lunchtime thrifting.

Harris Tweed overcoat, probably a size 40-41ish. The lining needs some help, but this can easily be worn without it.

I passed on 2 of these last week...Makes me wish I haven't...
