1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Thank you, thrift gods. Last week I left two pairs of vintage AE split toe bluchers at a Goodwill (the same one that yielded the $20 in a jacket pocket some time back) because they weren't my size and I just wasn't into tryin to flip them.

    Went back today, and picked up a pair of AE Logan boots in my size.

    Someone has previously had reprehensibly filthy sex wearing these boots.

    that would have made them more interesting, but they're thoroughly nwob.

    ... although I suppose they could have worn them once... on their exotic fur rug... exclusively to have reprehensibly filthy sex....

    Not that I know of, but we could start one:

    Isaia = ee sah EE ah
    Kiton = KEY tone
    Luciano Barbera = loo chyAH no bar BER ah
    Finamore = fee nah MORE eh
    Hermes = air MEZ
    Battistoni = bah tee STO nee

    I know this is correct, but I heard it in Italian and it sounded like Loo chah no bar ber ah, the accent sort of skipping over the double E in your version. Anyone know if that's how it's usually pronounced in Italian?

    ^ You're right—"ia" is a dipthong...the vowel sounds should blend together.

    That's pretty awesome. I don't follow the Cubs at all, but the Caray legacy is strong in Atlanta.
