Early 2000’s?
Really? I was going to say mid 90s based on the pimp-slap design. What are the indicators you see it's made 2000s?

The insole stamp, and Medusa stamp on sole. I could be completely wrong but that’s what I was basing it onReally? I was going to say mid 90s based on the pimp-slap design. What are the indicators you see it's made 2000s?
This label is becoming a common occurrence to me now. Not complaining.

Got a vintage bespoke tux from them; they made awesome stuff
Dope. Not sure if valuable but growing up in NJ I always loved classic diners. They're disappearing fast though in both NJ and NY so this was a cool piece for me.

Yea I said the same thing minus the interesting story and cocktailstrue story
though I have had a few cocktails so I may be confusing this with another similar shoe but I dont think I am
those shoes came in black, pink (yours), and a mint green/bluish color
it was the most requested shoe of the season
we sold out of most sizes but kept a few in the back for VIPs.
Luther Vandross walks in and looks around
He starts checking out those shoes
I say, "hey, Luther, try those on man, those would be great on stage!"
(I had the year before sold him a $60,000 set of alligator luggage, we had a repor)
He tries them on and says "Oh, these are hot" with a lilt in his voice
And then he says "these would be great with some pink socks!"
And at that moment we all had that much more respect for Mr. Vandross because he in a very subtle manner let us in on a private aspect of his life that wasn't known to the public
And he bought both colors of the shoes we had left (black was sold out)
Four years later he unfortunately passed away but I will always remember him singing to us in the store and enjoying spending his hard earned money with us.
net net 2001 collection, maybe 2002, will reconfirm when I get back to my books, but someone out there will probably tell you they're fake because the scuffs on the bottom dont match an actual sidewalk in Canada, the concrete is laid in a different direction.

Don't come by cool watches very often, so I was pleased with this for $18. Seems to be running great so far.
