Nope. That’s not Z Zegna that’s mainline from like the last 6 months to a year. They dropped the Ermenegildo like Ferragamo dropped Salvatore. Insanely recent find with a much higher RRP than zegna 3 years ago.

Interesting read for more detail. Newer stuff seems to be a lot more focused on casualwear.

Appreciate the info! Exactly what I wanted to hear haha

Yea they definitely are. Recently opened up su misura to make tons of random casual stuff like t-shirts I believe. Personally have mixed feeling about the direction they’re heading. I love the triple stitch sneakers and have found the newer stuff to have more hand finishing details and nicer materials etc, but the price increases are crazy. The most recent nyc sample sale went to 90% off but I doubt we’ll see that again

Nah bruv this isn't funny do you rob Isaia? I don't understand how one man can pull the same brand over and over.

Geeez i hope this magic dust rubs off on me for the next trip out. Bonkers nice patterns and colors. I especially like that grey check susu. My next grey SC will be something like that or a POW pattern.

The thrifts have overall been a snoozefest the last couple of months but here's some highlights for personal.

PXL_20240217_010352138.jpg

I've probably passed 100+ suitsupply jackets but loves the pattern and fabric here. Super light.

Been really into super plush cords. This fits the bill.

Loved the hat soon as I saw the pattern. Maker is a nice bonus

Not sure if rare but I like it.

Tbh I like the drake's so much more.

Drake's truly had some bangers when it comes to accessories. What a color combo.

So I never knew that there was a following for Lava Lamps. Unlike...basically everyone I know, I never had one in college so I have picked up a few lately (I'm up to 6 now) and all but 1 are Lava Lamp branded.
I saw a cool looking odd one over the summer that was a larger than the normal 14" and I thought was the same size as the two 16.3 inchers that I have but upon comparison it was actually shorter but wider. The base was made of brass or some brassy-like material with pinholes so it has additional shine when turned on.

It is from the 70s and is either called a Century, a Starlite, or a Starlite Century. I did a little search on that auction site and turns out it is a desireable model. Who would have guessed?

This looks more to be an outlier in pricing as they have been selling for $150 - $220. Pretty good for a $12.99 purchase

This is an interesting one:

1-107.JPG

This fleece was completely de-branded.

1-116.JPG

I know that fleece color and pattern... The sleeve end construction..
1-117.JPG
1-118.JPG

Lack of chest logo here and also 2 zipper pull tabs have been replaced/added.

1-119.JPG
1-120.JPG

Inner collar label is gone, but that grosgrain loop is there. And the bastard even cut out the inner material label..

Why do people do this? I mean I know there's things like Burning Man where there's supposed to be no brands, money or capitalism (sounds like a living hell) but why do this with a Patty? Why not get a friggin LL Bean it's the same exact Polartec fabric. People lol.

Will go to efforts to make this thing whole again. Off with the random pull tabs and I'll snag the labels off the next Patty fleece I find with low margins. Re-branding begins!
