Nice before and after on these:

Welts and soles were caked in mud. Color loss and cracking on uppers. Very dried out leather. Pretty neglected and a good example of "ridden hard and put away wet".

A little running water, brushing and oxyclean took care of the mud. There was so much mud on the soles I couldn't even tell they had been re half soled. The Leather let out a big sigh of relief after slathering in Bick 4 twice and 1 coat inside. Toes surprisingly weren't all carved up and look great after a coat of Saphir Black and 1 coat of Clear paste. Sole edges where the half soles were applied were a bit rough so I lightly sanded, re-dyed and then beeswaxed and buffed...I think they've made a good recovery.

My favourite find of the day. Noticed it on a new rack coming out and had to run to save it from the rack vultures.

Keeper for sure.

That fanny pack is killer!

@eazye: Thanks, now I know what Escorial means. I think I have seen the label before, but I figured it was a brand.
It's pretty good shite and fairly uncommon. Years ago when I worked for a tailor in Chicago, we made a couple Escorial jackets which cost around $5-8K if I'm remembering correctly, while most jackets in regular wool were around $1.5-2K.

Very dry here last few weeks. Did pick up another Marol shirt to match the last one but in blue.
This nice oversized book today.

A smaller version in the back jacket I assume to make it easier to cook with. First time I have seen that. Recipes look challenging but Delicious.

Some recent finds: shoe trees patented 1924, not sure about the sweater in the first two photos - nice, but that’s the only tag i could find
