First post in a long time (year?). Have lots to catch up on but hope everyone has been well. Here’s a smattering of stuff I’ve found in the interim. Most is gone except for the black label tan suit and Charvet tie. Working on getting a handle on all my backlog and have shipped a bunch to spoo with more ready to go. The big leather club chair was off Craigslist and it was an absolute trick to get up the stairs and in my house.

X-post from the WAYWRN thread.

Thrift fit on the first real warm spring day a few days back. Who knew you could look pretty good in second hand clothes?

Paid up for these, but they're older and in-demand prints:

Also paid up for these, but I have always been on the lookout for a pair. These are Porsche Design 5620, best known from Yoko Ono's cover of Rolling Stone.

Two ostrich and a sharkskin in the mix:

Stamped, but pretty convincing.

Maybe not interesting for most of you, but rare in these parts. I always like these Stanley thermoses.

Love it when calvin klein is priced through the roof and cucci and akog are the cheapest on the rack. Thanks, almighty pricing gods.

And last but not least, one of the best finds I've had in awhile. Black label raw denim pea coat.

I found it hilarious that when I was looking up comps I stumbled upon this EXACT same jacket. Not like another of the same model, but the same physical piece, with the same dry cleaning tag. Someone bought it for $375 a few months ago and decided it was already time to donate. Hopefully when it sells this time, it is re-donated and one of you can flip it next. I'm guessing 1luxoticthread is someone here..?

Okay guys. Heading back to Dallas after a weekend in Santa Fe and while there was no thrifting to discuss we did go to a store called Santa Fe Vintage. This is an appointment only warehouse about 15 minutes outside of town and it was unbelievable
Now let me premise this by saying this is a vintage shop, not thrift. It is pricey! Doubt you could resell anything but maybe for those of you that collect, maybe she might make some deals but we only bought 1 small thing. But, if you like this kind of stuff it is the best I have ever seen. I took a bunch of pictures to try and give you an idea. You could easily spend a few hours here. Lady was very nice and does some on-line. If this stuff is your live, look them up and call or email them.
And with that...

Wow, thats like the old Jim Cramer line about restoration hardware, its not a retail store its a museum that occasionaly sells a few pieces to pay the light bill.
