christie’s comp was a lot of two posters, each signed by the artist

Yes! I noted that it says signed by the artist, but that poster was "signed by the artist" in the same way the poster being sold was signed (same squiggly sig in the bottom right corner) so ... who knows.

Because we all seem to be...err...thrifty individuals we should have a barter thread, maybe even a forum, SF's own Bartertown. I know one of you is sitting on an 1950s/1960s battery-less rangefinder camera and needs some hifi or maybe medium-fi speakers :rotflmao:

Of course I could stop being lazy and put the baby oil to work, set up my photo tent, snap some pics and just sell my own ****

I spent a while about a decade ago buying up Cuci stuff for my own wardrobe. But almost nothing fitted right. Took me a while to figure it out, but it's because the Cuci stuff is cut to wear like these guys. Bonkers. Sold it all.
I fully support the wearing of an odd jacket with jeans and sneakers.
And Cucinelli is nice stuff. Formal casual??

Picked up these chinos as they felt really nice quality, but struggling to identify the maker. This is the only label, any ideas?

Canonet rules I miss my GIII but got rid of it when I moved out of my parents house (which was my darkroom) and the local developer closed.

I want a battery-less interchangeable lens rangefinder. Leica M3s are outrageously priced as are M2s. I would 'settle' for a Leica iiic/iiif but they have started to creep up in price and I like the idea of attaining my hobby **** via frugal means, fawk retail. A Canon P is basically a Japanese Leica and uses Leica screwmount lenses so that's high on my list. And of course there is Nikon

Leica iiic > Canon P > Nikon S2/S3/SP in that order

Now let me see what I can scrounge together that is worth a damn. You are NOT getting my Snells :rotflmao:

I like my Contax G1, but the G2 would be much better (there’s a stupid focusing issue with the G1 that they fixed with the G2. But man, are those lenses sharp. As a bonus, the lens work on Sony A-series digital cameras with an adapter.
