The jewellery clerk at my local store recognizes brands and usually puts all the glasses in the display case with a high price tag. Hard to find a pair of Ray Bans for under $30

She clearly wasn't working today. Most expensive of the bunch was $2.99, so I just scooped them all and away I went. In hindsight should have looked a bit closer, but meh

Fendi + Gucci which both had RX tinted lenses

MK. Nothing special. Just in the bunch I grabbed

Moschino and TF. Though both of these probably should have been catch and release. Meh

I've wondered about this as well. It's kinda like you need a huge bolded red disclaimer that says:

All items sold as is. no warranty. No returns. No exceptions. I don't care if it doesn't fit. I don't care if it's wrinkled. I don't care if you don't like the color. I don't care if you didn't read the very clear description of condition. I don't care if you failed to closely look at the pictures. It's yours... And your money is mine. Period.

Of course, none of this means anything in the eyes of ebay. The customer is always right... It seems.

Yikes...

Yeah, the amount of idiots out there is surprising. Last week I had some clown complain and push a return on me because his blazer arrived wrinkled. Well yes, when a garment is folded and shipped half-way across the country over the course of 3 days, I would assume it would have some wrinkles. I guess he wanted me to hop on a plane and hand deliver it to him on a silver platter. Some folks should stick to brick and mortar retail....

@Centaurus3200 It’s definitely a slippery slope. I always list no returns and exchanges etc and make sure to be meticulous in listing any defects to be totally transparent but there are also sellers that will bold face lie or just not even describe a major issue. So I fully agree with you that if those things are listed clearly...it’s on the buyer to resell that item if they change their mind or are bothered by the specified issues when they get the item. We all know that most of these sites protect buyers far more than sellers too.

just sold that Aerostich Roadcrafter motorcycle suit on Craigslist for $200. could have gotten more on eBay... but again, they come, they see, they give cash... and they **** off. this guy literally flipped me the cash with the suit on... hopped on his bike and went to work. LOL!

all in all, not too bad for an $8 investment.
