Any update on Thriftmas gift exchange? I have been a little swamped and haven't been on here.

I have been busy because I got a new job! I will be moving to Memphis. Its a job I have been trying to get for over a year.

Haven’t been able to get out much with new baby + job being ******* insane but I did have 2 hours to kill on Saturday. Only one stop gave up the goods but it was a good one.

The problem I find with having kids and the #thriftlife is that the sourcing is the easy bit. Listing is a whole other story.

Signs I'm getting back into Thrift Mode:

Last night, I dreamed that I found a lightly-worn set of 1940s 501XX Levis at an army surplus store. A woman stole them from my shopping basket. I was confronting her at the checkout counter when I woke up.

I think I might know this one! There's a defunct Roman bespoke tailor called Carbotti & Paolo. I have a 3-piece suit from them, and it's definitely an ultimate-tier piece. (e.g. Milanese lapel buttonhole, hand-done everythings)

Post more pics of the piece, we can cross-reference.
