i firmly believe the way this goes down in nice areas of Canada is it's NOT people who bought these shirts back in the day donating them unknowingly. i seriously think it's hype beast richy riches who bought these vintage shirts for BANK. but then decided they need to thin the herd and don't want to deal with selling the shirt. they couldn't give a **** about the $500... so they just donate them.

i rarely see **** like this even in the bay area.

@Purplelabel
Got my new suede strap in the mail today.
So this watch is actually pretty rare ,it's a cal 265 ref 2622-1 from 1947(!!!) I could have sworn late fifties early sixties .
They only made them one year I believe and fetch a pretty penny.

Love the pock marks on the dial and color of the hands. Wonderful strap color choice too. Was that other Omega you found a bumper?

Probably will be one of my best finds of 2021. Definitely needs a good cleaning, but is pretty cool.

And then this piece. Not sure if it’s legit but it was cheap. I know some pieces aren’t made in France, but the made in Taiwan sticker on the bottom has me scratching my head. Anybody know more than I do on this stock pot?

That was a cal 269 I don't think those are bumper.i can't take the credit for the color choice because I stole it off a guy while I was researching this watch .look at the tropical dial on his.so cool.

The regular metal pots were made in Taiwan and the enameled cast Orion is made in France

I guess it’s worthwhile to check stores regularly. I had been by here less than a week ago but was running some errands nearby and being in possession of a 30%-off coupon for pants/jeans pushed me over the edge… thankfully

And also these (will have to go back and see if I can find a missing pair of pants)

somehow nobody had noticed this on the shelves either

Maybe because there was no power cord for it… but all it needs is a USB connection.

Yesterday was pretty decent as well…
