I guess you could. Now the internet knows that when there in LA and need a Business consultant who also specializes in acquisitions and can also read tarot cards and tell your future as well as conjure the dead, that he is there man, and who wouldn't want that in their business consultant? Hiring someone to advise you on your entire livelihood who happens to also need a side career of convincing idiots that he can tell their futures by pulling cards from a deck at random and can also talk to dead people....foolproof decision.

Best way to sale new low end blazers?

I was at a local thrift super sale a few weekends ago where everything in the store was $3. They normally don't have much in suits / jackets, but just as I walked in they rolled out a bunch of brand new blazers still with tags on them from Men's warehouse. Some have "sample" written on the inside, but most don't. They were all 42r my exact size and the wife and I was on our way to a party so I tried on a few and just decided to take them all and sale the duplicate coats or maybe give them away.

I have about 10-12 jackets I want to sale, but can't find much on them online. I don't know if they ever made full production or what, but they are all nice looking and 100% wool. Should I try and sale them in a lot, auction, buy it now, or set a price? Also what's a good way to ship a suit jacket. I've sold things on ebay before, but never clothes. Do I just include 42r or should I also measure each jacket? Is there a sticky on how to measure and what to measure?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Font is always a dead giveaway, also make sure the letters in the date code are the actual letters for the corresponding country it says it was made in. I found an amazing super fake Keepall a while back, looked amazing but the letters in the date code were for Spain and the bag said made in France in it

Denim guys: I just kopped 3x NWOT LVC jeans at a consignment for the same price as regular Levi's. (They're returnable.) One pair is 1st quality (LVC stamp on inside pocket). The other 2 are irregular (no LVC stamp, irregular stamp on pocket, torn care tag).

    Can anyone identify the style?

1st quality pair: ("Normal" sized back pockets. Hidden rivets. Lighter/softer denim.)

Irregular pairs: (Longer back pockets. No hidden rivets. Heavier denim.)

And finally, @barrelntrigger, this is what I meant when I said faux selvage. Bias taped edges. (This is not the LVC I picked up. Some other brand I saw on the rack.)

    Fuck!

Those were on a pair of red monkey? Yeah, those are good indications of being fakes

Yeah, that's not the Red Monkey, but it's the exact same thing. I'm worried about my LVC since I can't find an exact match for any of them on the LVC site. The single needle arcuate + small-e red tab doesn't seem right historically. I can't find LVC that used a black patch, either. But then again, why would someone make "irregular" fakes?

thanks for the pointers! yeah fakes will out but the good ones'll make you work to see it.

i did check on the date code (SD0010), it is simpatico with the made in USA label. i was also able to find a couple of sister wallets being sold online (yeah i know grain of salt) but everything lines up perfectly, so at this point with the p's and q's i feel great about it being legit. also it seems to be a slightly less-common style of french purse which made it a little harder to find comps but they're around and i'm satisfied.

usually what i try to do with this kind of thing is be skeptical to the point of prejudice until the thing proves to me that it's not a fake. i've learned to trust my doubts and that's worked for me so far. very difficult for me to pull the trigger on LV, i saw this last night and ended up going back first thing this morning. they were selling "as is" i opened it up and it's just dirty. should clean right up.

@Van Veen it'd be helpful to see the inside tags and stamps you're referring to. i don't know what to make of these and i've seen quite a few legit lvc and levi's samples

Yeah, the funny thing is the pockets are both like that. Also the stitching along the bottom of the pocket is symmetrical, which makes me think it's not a mistake.
