That place is so hit and miss, and it's almost always priced way high.
Ok guys
They say if you love what you do it's not work, and everyone here is pretty much addicted to thrifting. It's like the dragon always needing another grail, another find One more
just
one
more
Until you wake up and think when do I go again?
When coming at it from the mindset off it's paying $20 for. Game it's nice time
When your mind set is x dollars will get y-(x+pp+e) return it's not as fun when there are dry spots and there will be many
So I am going to focus my focus on education for a few months, and while there is no entertainment the return should be much higher hopefully
Last time I quit I focused on excersce and went from 42 to a 46 and while not satisfied with fat % I am happy with the mass gain
So to succeed I need to quit again. I really thank everyone of the thrift homies. I love the pics , the finds, the learning, the feedbacks, the great off topic posts. At least for me the reason I come back to styleforum 5 times a day.(let's be real 10 times a day)
So no more thirfting
No more thread
At least for a few months
Best wishes thrifting to you all

Didn't know there was such a thing as Charles Tyrwhitt shoes, but these are made in England and my size, so why not...
Every couple weeks or so I think that, then things go back to normal. I've identified a couple managers who, I used to think knew what's up and were upping the pricing on the good stuff. On Saturday, I got fed up in one store with every pair of shoes I liked being $20 to $30, so I just started to flip all the shoes, to see what "normal" was, they were all $20 to $30. I felt rage/relief.mole
everyone else beat me to it. But, seriously, I wish you luck. If I put the energy of this hobby into playing the violin, I'd be first chair somewhere by now. (my apologies to musicians out there, allow a little poetic license)Ok guys
Best wishes thrifting to you all
Holy ****, that's genius. Tupac would be alive today. For those of you who have made enemies on your thrift routes...

THE OFFICIAL THRIFT/DISCOUNT STORE BRAGGING THREAD - PART II (RETURN TO THE THUNDERDOME)
Inquiring minds want to know.
Value Village has a mole in this thread. I swear. Prices are skewed on items that have been popping up on this thread. I'm not crazy, I swear.
Trying to expand my knowledge of Bakelite. Bottom bangle tested positive, the other two look/feel like it, but still not sure.
Couldn’t tell you how many pounds of resin and plastic garbage jewelry I’ve thrown away thinking it might be BakeliteDidn't know anyone else on here was woke about Bakelite ****. I'll share my most recent pickup:
