That's a serious thrift ruining haul man, I went through a pretty bad depression after my brioni/Oxxford/Loro piana baby cashmere haul last year

yeah the comedown after one of those hauls the next time out is pretty ******* ruining.

heres a story

when i played semi full time poker, i went up to foxwoods for the weekend, for a WSOP tournament. my friends and i paid the $500 entry fee and decided to play a cash game while we waited (4 hours or so) for the tournament. i sat down at a 5/10 no limit table and was up about 3K in a half hour (the equivalent of bandits haul pretty much, in terms of the high). flopped set after set, caught back door flushes, the works. it was 15 minutes before the tourney started and i was up about 2500 still. said ******* and started playing reckless, bluffed and won and was up about 4300. i decided to skip the tourney because i was on fire and thought at that pace i would be up 50K by the time the tournament was over.

i sat at that table for a good 25 hours and by the time my friends peeled me out of my chair, i was down net $100 from when i sat down. went through a full sober/drunk/sober cycle and then delirium set in. was worth the $100 as that was one of the most fun days ever but damn, that 4300 i should have just walked away and played my tourney.

this story completely lost its relevance for thrifting but hey. now you know.

Not a great haul by any means, but picked up a Michael Kors and a Charles Tyrhwitt dress shirt as well as a nice tie for $6 today. Not impressive, but solid finds.

Yo Silverware, I'm really happy for you.

Imma let you finish, but I wanted to ask the crue if these were made by Kiton, based on the tags:

Now that the dust has slightly settled (but not really)... bump on this cause I still cant find any info on the internets.

Here's a weird find from today. No worries about piss stains or triple pleats on this guy because it is a minty quilted (wha?) Zanella leather jacket. I walked in the house and my wife asked me why I was wearing a garbage bag. Has anyone ever seen such a garment?

Can't believe I have to follow one of the best finds of the year.

One stop. Did pick up my Eidos jacket from the tailor for its inaugural wear tomorrow.

It reminds me of the pleather interior my dad installed in an old pick-up truck that he restored.
