Have you guys ever bid on something for kicks and giggles... only to get a message a little later that you had won? Then, you realize that you have ZERO use for the item...

The possibilities for the use of a jacket like this are just endless. Mowing the lawn. Grocery shopping. Poker with your buddies. Dinner at the club. The republican convention. I mean really, where would this not fit in?

I'm trying to get better at actually posting stuff here, rather than just lurking.

So here is some stuff from this week, I really should be working through my backlog, but everyone knows how that goes...

Alden Suede Loafers, I can't find any info about the model number online.

That exact model is not made any longer. And it may have been a special order. But, the current style that is closest to that would be the 9697F - Penny Loafer flex welt. They have it in a dark brown suede now. Personally, I like yours better!

Happy Father's Day dads.

If you want to trade a smaller size for this one, I have a Large that's identical.

You may or may not know this, but those Blue Tip matches sell really well. I made a killing off a few cases of those back in the day. They used a different chemical back then so those would light under nearly any condition. They work better than any wet light match made today. The only downside is they have a tendency to light when you would rather they didn't. If you sell/ship them, pack them so they can not bounce around in whatever box you put them in. Awesome stuff though for sure.
thanks for the heads up! I have them on display in my apartment right now

Going through pictures on my phone. Found these a week or two ago. Did not cop. Oldest Allen Edmonds I've found thus far.

Thrift fit. Surprisingly made by a local high-end custom clothier. Did not cop. Almost bought it as a gag gift but have no idea who I'd give it to.

Uhhh...you wouldn't need to give it to anyone. Just wear that everywhere you go!

Off topic: Can someone recommend a good book, please? Prefer fiction, but I did just read Unbroken and liked it (also liked Seabiscuit, which was same author).

kthanks.

As you were.

Edit:

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.
