that southwester one is dope. I like that

I assume I will eventually convince myself I need that sw print suede cap.
Love the indigo suede cap too but it leaves blue marks on my forehead.

I find many of the SW items (especially cardigans) cool looking, but I just can't carry them. So indigo always wins out for me. This SW hat seems different as it's a small item and I think I will look fine wearing one. I like the color and pattern a lot too. Yet, looking at the various outfits I have, I have a feeling the indigo will get a lot more use ?‍♂️

I don't normally like a lot of the SW items, honestly. I think this is muted enough that it could pass as just a brown hat, at a quick glance. Maybe it's more bold in person.

Not hitting that patchwork flag bear?

Do we have any overall/coverall guys in our ranks? I don't think I could pull them off but curious if anyone can.

I never imagine myself wearing overalls, but after seeing the many official RRL showroom images, I went and bought one a few seasons back. In contrast with the styling in the posted picture by @zippyh and many others I see on Instagram, RRL styles overalls with shirt/tie/jacket/hat (fedora/newsboy). I really the overall (no pun intended) look. I showed up dressed as such at one of the family gatherings and got lots of praise (none of them related to farm/auto mechanics/etc - none of with I'm remotely qualified for!).

So, YMMV, but if you like the RRL style I described, I'd definitely recommend getting one.

Any IRL pics of the Cushing wash? I’ve been looking for a light wash for a while and somehow never came across these.

Awesome that you experimented and got a great result. I'm not a tie/jacket/hat-combo guy but when I've seen overalls/coveralls styled that way in RRL catalogs/lookbooks, you’re right, it works.

Is this like you were being paint splatter curious?
I showed the patchwork flag bear to my wife and she just shook her head and said “ha ha, no”.

Ha! Yeah, I think so. But it may be more for the challenge of being able to wear coveralls/overalls in a way that works for me.

That’s the Nigel Cabourn women’s designer. Not a fair fight indeed.

I'm starting to see what should have been more "wearable" RRL pieces at RLPL. They are priced not a whole lot more than RRL and made in Italy too LOL.
