The Brunel boot in brown was on their last sale. Not sure how often the boots go on sale . Seems like they put a pair or 2 of shoes/boots up for their sales each go around. They tend to sell fast though ?
Yeah I saw the brown pair go down to $300. I'm wondering if I should wait for seasonal sales or just go for it.

I think those $300 Brunels weren’t actually available or if they were, there were only a pair or two. I added to cart but availability went to zero at checkout. Decent Ralph footwear doesn’t go on sale like it did in years past.

It's tough cause I know Thorogood/Weinbrenner prolly makes the Brunels and they're literally 2-3x the price of regular Thorogood boots. But I love the longer height and added details to the back and toe box.

Don’t think I posted this one here but I saw that jacket posted by someone else, I picked it up as well. It’s really great. Also RRL roughout pants and belt.

Is this a current production shirt? Love it, but don't remember seeing it.
I am talking about this one...

Aha ...... RRL forensics ..... love it. What you have there is actually an “Ottoman” knit work shirt. RRL has made three “Ottoman” knit work shirts that I am aware.

The first shirt is yours, the second one (red) I own and the bottom one is from this season. I remember your shirt from a couple of seasons ago but I was looking up corduroy and that’s actually “Ottoman” fabric. Here is a huge advantage for people with access to an RRL shop rather than buying everything online ..... they get to feel the material and try the clothes on!

Ottoman is a finely ribbed material that has some heft to it. I was actually endorsing this season’s indigo Ottoman on the forum when it first hit the stores. I believe anyone that tries that shirt on will also hear it’s siren’s song and have to buy it.
Fun Fact: Ottoman is actually most often used in gift ribbons.

Now as for the year, I suspected it was from Fall 2018 but could not find it in the catalogs (which I keep for forensic research). However, I also follow a couple of people on Instagram that just seem to buy everything RRL ..... one of them is Mike Clough (a Brit that has a Japanese weed removal business). There is a picture of Mike on September 28, 2018 where he is wearing your shirt and exclaims ..... “Oooo new season” ..... in a fit of rapture.

So to summarize again; Ottoman knit work shirt, everyone should lust for it, Fall 2018 ..... Mike Clough buys an awful lot of clothes.

Case closed Watson.

Unfortunately I see that Mike Clough is not active anymore on IG. Are you..?

I got tired of paying so much for alterations and learned how to sew on my mothers 1944 Singer. I've saved soooo much money over the last few years doing my own alterations.

Still waiting to see someone post a picture of their 1934 Union Special 43200G chain stitch machine that they use for hemming those RRL denims

Obviously would like to drive sales somehow. I’d like to think it invites those who cannot physically visit the store, to get an idea of how much effort goes into our flagships and RRL especially.
I've been to the W. Broadway store many times and that definitely does it justice...fun to poke around, virtually

Yes. Like a lot of things my Singer is better made than most modern plastic machines.
Good luck with your venture, I hope to hear more about it in the future.

They were when they originally went on sale in spring. Although most sizes were sold out the next day. Lately any new sale item I put into my bag goes poof at checkout...
