Anyone have this piece? How is the quality and fit?

Western Shawl Cardigan

this is the one I bought full msrp and the tag and a button fell off as well as started piling immediately. With that said, I love it since it’s very unique but not worth the original price, maybe for half price. I’m 6’1” 185lbs and find the L a bit roomie. Description says lightweight but it’s fairly heavy.

I'm the same size and weight as you. I'm always stuck between L and M. A large popped up in the sale today and I bought it. Reading the dimensions, I figured a medium would be better, but I don't have that luxury. Hope it works out.

Edit: I stalked you and found a pic. I also have a problem of things being too short, so this may actually be the best size. Take care, doppelganger.

I know it’s a basic staple item, but it’s hard to outdo the RRL western shirt.

I love this shirt. I just bought it today on eBay for $125. I can't go to $265 for it - but the color is absolutely prime.

I also found some nice Levi's one in a similar color for $41. Not as distressed, but still a nice color and nice to have multiples.

To me though, here’s where RRL goes too far - is this a lineman’s shirt or something? It looks like something you’d find at a civil war reenactment, with its hideous three pockets...

Looks like RRL just dropped a bunch of new pieces. A few things look interesting, but didn't see any must have pieces. Guess my money is safe in the bank for know.

10 years ago I would have said the same thing, but now, and for probably the last 5 years or so, a RRL western denim shirt can very easily be outdone.

I have their newest staple version and it's a faint echo of what they have made previously: a different, much less appealing collar, a different cut, and flimsy, uninteresting fabric. The collar change really kills it.

Here are two, just off the top of my head, that will outdo what RRL is currently offering:

I wish I saw things that way. Initial look through has me wanting 25+ pieces haha

Do RRL t-shirts run small or large or strange? I’m 5’7 115 slim and usually get an XS in everything but I heard they run small like a tube so should I size up for a “vintage inspired fit” t-shirt? Thanks.
