Has anyone ever spotted this RRL Watts leather jacket? It's from Holiday 2015 but didn't see it ever until recently when I found a copy of the lookbook. I don't think I have ever seen it pop up for sale on eBay or the like either since that might get me interested...looks pretty unique.

I've seen it pop up a good amount, usually it was from big RL resellers on ebay but those may have mostly sold. you may be able to find them on yahoo auctions in japan

Hey guys,

Sorry for the long post but I just wanted to give a heads up on a device that I thought some of you might find useful. I have this FW 2016 RRL Sport Cardigan, which I really like. It's super comfortable.

The only problem is it pills like crazy, from the very first week I owned it. I almost stopped wearing it because of this. So I took a gamble on a device called the pilo fabric shaver. I figured I would give it a try. Here are some before and afters.

Here's what it looks like after you're done shaving. It really takes a lot off.

For the record I don't have any affiliation with the guys who make the product, I'm just happy with the results and felt there may be others out there who could use something like this. My only complaint is that it doesn't work well around buttons. I may have to have my tailor take them off it I want to properly do that part. I'm not that fussed for now though.

Good stuff. So do you have to shave it every few wears or does it stop after a couple of times?

I'm not sure yet since I just used the shaver today for the first time. I'm going to try to use it sparingly though to preserve the life of the garment. For fine knits, I'll probably use it after dry cleaning sweaters at the beginning and end of seasons.

Just an FYI there was a promotion in store where if you spend $1000 on RRL/purple label you get $500 back, effectively 50% off. Got a cardigan and the western blanket.

Update: I got the jacket in the mail, and I'm about as sure as I can be that it's legit. The buttons are exactly the same as the buttons on the RRL jeans I have, and nothing looks out of place or sloppily constructed.

Overall it's a really nice jacket, but I'm less sure if the fit. This was listed as a medium, and I think I need more of a smedium for the fit I want. Might put it up in the B-S-T thread.

Nice, thanks for the update! Yeah, I hear you regarding fit....if it was a tad slimmer all around it'd be spot on. Regardless it looks pretty damn nice.

I think the fit is great... if you dig the jacket, I'd keep it.

Regarding the spend a G get $500 back, I believe the operative word is 'was'. I just asked my inside guy about that and he said the promo was April 26-28. So now I gotta find a new inside guy, b/c I'm bouncing on that dude. Ce la vie.
