I would really appreciate if some one could help me with following question. Does the current RRL Slim Fit jeans made from 16oz Cone Mills denim differ from the earlier ones made from Japanese 15.5oz denim in cut, sizing etc.? Any experiences on the matter?

I was able to get a pair of Japanese made denim in size 29 at eBay, but unfortunately I should've gone down for two sizes on those. Have been trying to find a size 28 ever since but seems impossible nowadays. Thanks!

Most people have commented that the quality of the denim isn't as good but I haven't read anything yet about the sizing being different.

It's weird how nobody wants to be seen in leather jeans but waxed jeans are all the rage. I sold leather RRL jeans that were embellished to a rodeo guy before, said it would help prevent the bull from tearing off his nuts.

Function > fashion.

Is the RRL version of this shoe any better than Vans or Keds? I've gone through so many pairs of this type of shoe because my wide feet always end up tearing through the side.

It's better bc it's RRL lol. That was also my first thought when I saw them, looks like a pair of Keds. The SA said it's selvedge and will change color with wear and sun, something to that extent.

Same here!
Shoes like this usually last me a couple months tops.
These do look cool though
