#1 Prob: pants/trousers

After living in the UK, I can no longer say pants. (try asking for pants in a haberdasher in the UK, or mentioning them in any setting). So now I only say trousers. But of course that sounds weird here.

There is no solution to this problem.
Well I think it better describes a specific type of pant imo. Where here anything that goes past the knee and isn’t denimn can be considered a pant.

A grown man asking for “pants” in the UK is raising the issue of his incontinence. In some parts of London, the shopkeepers have learned to conceal their hilarity, but elsewhere was regularly mocked. Now have a permanent mental block.

Pants go in the trousers.

Yeah-not to dig this up, but I'd def be interested in a meet-up in early June too!

I really enjoyed the last one.
Wifey and I spent the morning at Hillwood Estate gardens over by Rock Creek Park. Very nice!

There's a period of time in spring where I enjoy mowing. It's this sign that the world is waking up and things are growing again.

Eventually it turns into annoyance at the chore, and then resentment.

The period of time between stages keeps decreasing. Pretty much by June now I'm sick of it. I think this is a sign that I should just hire someone or buy one of those mowing robots.
It doesn't bother me much. It gets me outside and I get to survey the yard, checking on the things I have growing.

I imagine that my yard not being huge helps my lack of resentment. It doesn't take terribly long for a mow.

@Purplelabel when in June? Curious if you would be down during the trunk show.

I’m sure it does especially with minimal weeding. We have the long bed by the back of our yard I fought tooth and nail to keep grass. I of course was ignore and now we have a bunch of unkempt Crate Mertle and tons of weeds….
