I had my pink Rapha jersey, a white baselayer, Rapha Core shorts, sun sleeves on my legs, some socks with bicycles on them, and black mtb shoes.

Tried Duaphine's tonight. If anyone's looking for a good date-night spot, this is definitely the place to go. Food was excellent. Skate wing had a nicely seasoned and crisp breading, and they have one of the best sazeracs I've ever tasted. Wife was a big fan of the cochon. Definitely get the bread basket.

I love cycling clothing myself, which is why this old New Yorker cartoon really hits the spot (please pardon the poor copy)

Philadelphia clothier Junior's is doing a pop up in DC September 18-20. From an email I received from proprietor Glenn Au:
I will be in DC 9/18 to 9/20 and will be staying at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel. It’s located just between Georgetown and Downtown DC.

I am taking appointments now with times starting 4pm on Saturday the 18th, all day Sunday and with the last appointment around 10am on Monday the 20th.

Let me know if you’d like to get on the schedule and I’d be happy to help with whatever I can.

Additionally, if there is anything specific in MTM clothing swatches you’d like to see, please let me know. While I plan to bring a healthy portion on my offerings I try not to bring everything so I don’t overwhelm anyone. Plus, I will have ready-to-wear items as well.

I haven't gotten any of their mtm but from the website it looks very competitively priced: around 1k for suits, 800 for sportcoats, 165 for shirts. The navy woven cotton D-ring belt I got from them a few months back has been getting a lot of wear this summer with linen trousers and madras shirts.

Is anyone going to see Willie Nelson at Merriweather? I have to see him while he's still around.

I had tickets for John Prine and Emmylou Harris last year however we know what happened and then John himself died. RIP.

Wifey wants to go but won’t commit yet so tix will sell out before she makes up her mind!

Scored tix to both nights for the New Pornographers! I really miss the 9:30 Club but I’m sure that, after two shows, my body will remind me I’m not 25 anymore…!

I don’t like standing at concerts and I have yet to hit the big 4-0 yet.

I already have Wu Tang tickets for Dec 1 at the Fillmore and I don't think I have the energy anymore for two shows in two days.

I saw ghostface and method man at the 9:30 club back in 2007. I have yet to see all the members at once.

Re: Junior's, I am planning on a meet during his DC trip, he seems enthusiastic, and look forward to meeting him.

His stuff looks good. Following him on IG, and the shirts seem to be great for the price (without seeing one in person) I am curious what type of construction the suits/sport coats have, and (less important) where they are made.

Regarding concerts: I can't wait to get back to seeing some live music. Need to take a look at my Ticketmaster account to see what shows I had tickets to last year have frim rescheduled dates.... I know one is now scheduled for fall of '22, one show was outright cancelled (Black Keys), I sort of lost track.

This show at the Fillmore is Ghostface, Raekwon, and GZA, which is a sufficient number of living members for me to be able to just say I'm seeing Wu Tang.
