Yeah but most stores know jackshit to be honest. I am guessing PNP and a few others probably will have a word with Alessio and get back. Eck, any idea mate?
Maybe l’Eclaireur Herrod?

Honestly when I said that I was basically thinking of PNP and hide-m.
Yeah mate. Hide-M would be the other. Sorry. The place I got the them is no longer around. Sinnedk, you could help us drop a line to PNP and see what they have to say about this. Might be something the guys here would find useful.

SZ seems real dead lately.

A lot longer than lately. It's funny because somebody posted on the rules, tips, etc thread and I got to read the thread. The rules just seem to prevent from anybody from having fun posting.

Anyway, when I had my L-0 boots, I just used Saphir renovateur and just kinda buffed it with a cloth after regardless if it was the smooth or napped area. Turned out fine. Don't overthink it. These boots are meant to look more distressed with wear.

I've used Saphir Delicate for everything I've been worried "how is this gonna turn out" - I've never had a problem. A1923 reverse horse white shoes, CCP scarstitch, red A1923 boots, Layer-0, etc. Like nyarkies said, don't overthink it. Saphir renovateur will probably be fine

^Thanks Sinnedk. I might get the creme delicate for use with the other pairs. Gonna leave the shells alone for now.

Thanks NN. I slap that Saphir on the other pairs without ovethinking. Been doing it for years. It is the mottled finish(black/red) on these that got me a feeling little leary. I got them for the finish and don't want them darkened in anyway.

Hey y'all, had a question on Guidi sizing. I picked up a pair of horse 796s in 44s recently and I'm a true 42.5. Both the toebox width and length of the boot is just perfect for my feet. I'm able to wiggle my toes and stretch my foot against the top of the shoe with little effort. However I'm noticing that I do have heel slip in these boots and I can stick my index finger into the top opening of the boot easily. I can fit a Superfeet half insole into heel of the boot and I feel like it fits fine.

Two questions
1) Guidi's leather is soft and pliable. Should I be concerned that this leather will stretch out and form more exaggerated rolls? Or is this not a concern because it all ready fits a tad loose?

2) In y'all's experience, would I be better off sizing down to a 43? It doesn't seem like Guidi makes half sizes as far as all the stockists I've seen, though I've seen some pairs of Grailed marked as half sizes.

I'm use to wearing my YSL Wyatts (true 42.5) and Alden Trubalance/Plazas/Barries. All of these fit fairly secure, but I realize they're also buckled/lace ups.

Some people apparently have special-ordered half sizes.

If you're near somewhere with local stockists, I would try on a 43 … though after typing that out I realize that that's probably not very practical advice at this point.
