People who don’t obsess about their clothes are far less likely to hang around clothes boards
There is a difference between obsessing about clothes (I certainly do), and obsessing about not getting your clothes, particularly your casual clothes, get rucked up.

Or, alternately: people who don’t obsess about their clothes are far less likely to obsess about the condition of their clothes.

Just ordered a pair of these from Singolare. Pretty good deal IMO.. on sale 30% off, minus VAT, US$1160 with free shipping. And unlike a lot of these stores they do returns (buyer pays return shipping). Never thought I'd be saying >$1k boots were a good deal.. but here we are..

Leather looks decent in the closeups. About the same thickness as my grey culatta's.

And yeah they do returns unless the discount is 50% off or higher:

Refund: If for any reason the customer is not satisfied with an order, he can return the item and ask for a refund of the paid amount. This will be processed as soon as we receive and check the returned item. For orders paid by credit card the refunded amount will be available to customers within their next billing statement. Processing time may vary depending on the credit card company. Orders paid by Paypal or by bank transfer will be refunded to the original account. Currently refunds are not available for orders paid by Cash on Delivery. Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the amount refunded are due to exchange rate fluctuations and will not be reimbursed. All returns with refund request will be at customer cost and responsibility, as well as any eventual import fees and taxes. Singolare.it reserves the right to deduct from the final refund any fees or cost the customer should not comply.

Return shipments will be at customer cost in any case for discounted products over or equivalent to 30% off.

All sales purchases for discounted products over or equivalent to 50% off are final and non-returnable.

Back to topic though. Specifically to not treating your items with 'reverence'. I think a1923 actually has the right message "handmade in Italy don't handle with care".
IIRC that's Guidi, although it's not impossible that A1923 does the same.
