Ha Steve! No this boot was designed by Joe and Joseph, thus the name. It was supposed to have Brass hardware, but that got changed for them by Artie.

Mike sorry if I missed the info, are these boots on Commando or dbl leather?

Thanks.

Hi guys

Small question, I saw these beauties, but info says that they are made on the 808-last. I've never heard of that last. To me, they look like they've been made on the Grant-last.

Can somebody help me out? I'll only want to buy them if they are made on the Grant-last or a last that is wider than the Grant-last.

Cheers!

Great LWBs! I just love how great these look with denim or formal wear!
Thanks Mike! I have to admit I was never really sold on the lwb - I always felt it was too clunky. I am slowly coming around on them. I wear them mostly with denim, but Im working them into the business casual rotation as well. And they are amazingly comfortable.

Yes, Grant. Looks like EG last info is populated on a few. I like that one better than the Frans Boone version with all the brass.

Gentleman,
Currently having only the parajumper #8 from FB, And an unlined snuff suede chukka incoming, I am already thinking of my next purchase.
Here are the options:
King 975
Suede boot
Other exotic shell option

What do you think?

Thank you

Fantastic! Welcome to the forum! I can't quite tell, what model are they? Color #8 PCTs?
