Anyone hop in on the pre order for these over at Shop Lost and Found? I'm kind of bummed I missed out. These would be a killer black casual boot.

Thanks for the tips! Is there any sort of protector-type cream or spray I should apply before wearing? For example, I coat all my suede shoes with nano-protector when I first get them.

You don't need it on leather, but it probably wouldn't hurt. Can't say I've ever sprayed other than suede. In fact, that reminds me - neglected to spray these:

Not sure what I should do. I ordered Epaulet Innsbruck Indy's in 10D because my Kudu 404 Indy's in 10E have always felt a bit clunky and wide. I wore the Innsbrucks today for the first time today and my wider left foot is in pain. The right boot is a perfect fit. My left pinky and forefoot though feel bruised and beaten up.

I know CXL will stretch, but I wonder if this is a sign that I should sell or persevere. Gorgeous boots overall. On the other hand, I'd hate myself if I let the $575 I spent to to waste.

afiak they do not have pre-orders. They had those shoes in stock for a long time and recently sold out of them. They are a local shop and when I enquired about those boots (the same ones I got from Leffot) they said they do not know when/if they will get a restock.

Are those from Alden of Carmel? Nice

Here is my brown CXL collection. All from Leather Soul

Awesome. I like those Chukka's quite a bit, it's a shame with Leather Soul lately.

Yep, Alden of Caramel. Adam is a delight to do business with. If I got a black boot, it would undoubtedly be from him.

Ps. My phone is being dumb today with Styleforum. Not sure why? Barely even wants to load my subscriptions.
