Hey guys, good news for those that ordered the cigar and/or whiskey shell longwings from Alden Madison. Alden just called me to notify me that both came in and will be shipped out today!!

96977 suede flex welt loafers on the Copley last. These are like wearing slippers.

Anyone aware of any shops in Boston stocking Alden? I'm moving there and had expected more of a presence given that alden is hq'd in Mass. I checked out NRO while waiting to pick up keys to my new place last weekend and they had a pretty large display of stock models, with a lot of #8 and black shell. They also had a few nice natty cxl make ups (Indy, lwb, ptb). I think the Jcrew ludlow shop at Copley probably has some in store as well. Am I missing any places?

If anyone on the pre-order is local, they should be able to go pick theirs up in-store right now. If so, post pics! I got both. I honestly didn't expect to snag those whiskey shortwings on Tremont the other week from Alden DC, so part of me is considering selling either the whiskey shortwings or the whiskey longwings. I wouldn't mind having both, but my wife will not want me to keep both.

I agree with you on the cigar color. Can't wait to see those!

You're correct on J Crew. Right around the corner from there is Barney's, which carries some models. The Tannery has Alden too, as does Brooks Bros and Ball & Buck. I'm not sure if J Press in Cambridge has any.

None of these places has a huge or varied supply, and some may have stopped stocking since I was last in town.

Been a long time since I posted but I was going to mention the whiskey LWBs are in but I see word travels REALLY fast. The last of the basic shell colors to finalize my collection (okay, minus the black one)!

I just assumed they were going to come out super dark like a recent pair of cigar PTB I had. So I didn't take the chance.
