i have not found any problems with my speed hooks on my cordovans Indy's as of yet. hope it stay that way...

How does the Alden brand shoe trees fit Modified Last? I was under the impression that no shoe trees properly fit Modified shoes.

HI nutcracker,

I actually asked a similar question to the guy at Moulded Shoe NYC, (who i must give much respect to due to he was so amazingly helpful!!)
I got these in japan and being i had owned the shoes for already over a year with allot of daily wear and never tree'ed them or any of my shoes until last month. (bad me)

Even thought the Med sized Tree's would official work in these size,
he recommended i use the Small sized Alden trees best for these 8.5 D size shoe.
they seem to be working fine for me so far no problem, but you might want to ask him or another orthopedic specialist your specific sizing and tree, before following suit.
