Happy Friday! would like to share what came in my mail today. Alden LS x SE boots in natural! I can never be happier!!!:happy::happy:
You can check out more pics in my blog, here

Damn you West Coasters getting your LS stuff before me. I CAN'T WAIT for mine to show up at my job on Monday. A nice carrot to help me ease back into work after a week at home with my kids.

Hahaha my friend had to go to the police warehouse to find his pair of shoes when the guy got caught. Funny because it happened actually almost exactly two years ago in the mid February.

That's hilarious...and only three degrees of Kevin Bacon, god bless the interwebs

Good grief!! Can't you guys just bicker with each other via pm so the rest of us don't have to be part of it?
:nodding:

OK guys, I'm sorry for asking what last those shoes were on. Now I'm totally confused so it doesnt matter anyway.

Snap last?
Cracke last?
Pop?
M16?

Hey, thanks everybody for the replies, especially zippyh (since they're yours) and the others who posted pics of similar CXL shoes in brown. Think those might be the shoes (droids?) I've been looking for. Might just save up to get those next.

On another note, my first Alden order just came into the local store yesterday, but I'm taking it back today. Guy at the shop said I should be a 9 in the tremont last, but it seems like I'm an 8.5. These are the shoes:

Sure hope the return goes smoothly and that they can order the 8.5 quickly....

Damn those look killer!:slayer:

Thanks. Problem is I am having a hard time justifying buying a pair of Cigar LWB because I already have these boots; however, my rationale is flawed since I have pre-orders of Whiskey short wing boots and also Whiskey LWB.

Medallion cap toes in #8 today. These don't seem to get much love around here. They look good dressed up and the round toe works with jeans.

Go for (depending on your size) the Ravelllo Long wings at Alden SF. That would be a good move.

These are great. Where did you get them?

They (the Indy8s) are from J. Gilbert...

Can we see a close up of the 20 yr old PTB's? 20 yrs ago I was still in college in rural NH, feet shod with Stan Smiths or hiking boots in winter.

By request:

These are probably closer to 22-23yrs old...and to be honest I have probably only worn them at most 50 times over that span. They were originally purchased to be my dress shoe and were mainly worn to weddings and job interviews...and sat idle for years at time. They have been brushed but have never had any wax or paste applied. It wasn't until a couple of years ago when I started looking for new boots and wondered what Shell was all about that I realized that I had a pair of shell and their condition and attractiveness convinced me that shell was worth the $$...and now several $k later...I am a goober posting pics of my shoes on the internet :slayer:
