Thanks for the information. I was thrown off by the fact that Alden Model Project lists pretty much only chukka's for Leydon lasted boots, and the toe looks less tapered in the pictures than other Leydon models. It's a beautiful boot.

Relatedly if anyone wants is open to selling their Old Bronze 9Ds at a premium, let me know. Would treat them better than anyone could ask. Been waiting for "Olive" Shell for almost a decade now... :) :) :)

I was holding off on getting a full family shot until I got some Ravello and the time has finally come. Really pleased with the rotation and dare I say content!

Once upon a time the Leydon Last was far more popular than nowadays. I vividly remember loafers and oxfords, occasionally derby's being made on the Leydon.

Alden of Carmel was a strong purveyor of this last. And, IIRC the Leydon was popular with the asian market as well.

Wasn't the general consensus for Leydon to go up one width from TTS?

I will say a boot was/is very rare on the Leydon. Nice last though.

I’ve seen a few shell loafers on Leydon recently. H. Stockton did a cigar pair twoish years ago and Frans Boone has an unlined color 8 loafer.
