There is a sure fire way to beat Alden's price increases....Don't buy anything. I love my Alden Retailer friends, and would take a bullet for them, but can not justify spending another price increase on Alden product. Alden has finally priced me out of the market.

Strange how tastes evolve over time. For the first 5 years or so of me being stuck in this expensive rabbit hole, I wouldn’t be caught dead in either black shell or a plain toe. Now I can’t get enough of either. Not sure if it’s old age or simply because I’ve had these a while, but I completely forgot they were on neocork. I was expecting commando. Very nice surprise.

Love your pants. May I ask where you got those from? I have a very similar pair, but they are original 1950's dress pants.

Thank you @DooWopMario and yes you may. I got these from JCrew back when they sold pants for people with body fat above 5%. They are likely around 10 years old.
