Should be Van, which is typically taken in your Barrie size (half down from Brannock). Some go brannock due to low instep volume of the last. I love it as is!

Agreed. Low vamp is certainly on Aberdeen. I take TTS but some go up 1/2...

While i tried both BB pairs in TTS 8D (should be 7.5E indeed), Tassel loafer seems longer and cant lock my heel. SNAP last fits like Leydon more than Hampton with this pair.

I never expect Aberdeen’s heel cup is this large.

I guess I should stop mentioning it, but I'm really hoping my pair make it to me before fall. I've been reserving a dark suede and tanker hole in my heart just for them.

You're right. I was thinking of the wrong loafer and link didn't work for me.
That said, I remember two summers ago a discussion about how some went TTS and some even go down a half for Aberdeen loafers

Mine feel better now but still a bit different. I agree the double leather is more comfortable

Double leather is more comfortable, but Commando is no where near as "stiff" as Dainite

Commando will start to soften and eventually chip off over time. I’ve already had a pair re-half soled. It’s not the highest quality rubber.

My ideal is DL with lulu tips and a rubber half sole. The most comfortable+durable combination for me.
