Plantation Crepe seems pretty durableHave them on a few pair of boots, and while I haven't put over a couple hundred miles on them, have not noticed any appreciable wear. They have been mostly on concrete sidewalks, I wouldn't let the sole deter you if you like the makeup of the shoe or boot. Just my two cents worth.A few pages back, a member mentioned a pair of shoes with plantation crepe soles. I really like the look of Alden's All-Weather walkers, but have been shying away from them with the presumption that the crepe sole isn't durable. What are the pros and cons of such soles?
Good choice as an intro to tankers!!!
Blue suede NSTs from AoM have finally arrived.

Excellent gentlemen! I went with the AE 48” brown rounds on mine and they go really well with them.

WaxedThey are great, indeed. Mine came with cotton flat brown laces, and AoM stated that it was a hiccup on Aldens side.
Did you get them with cotton or waxed laces?
