Quick Indy sizing advice, please. I wear 11.5D in Barrie and that’s a bit...relaxed...shall we say. 11.5D in the Indy is MASSIVE wrt volume, but the length is good. I keep hearing that I should go down a half size, but wouldn’t going down to a C width in 11.5 be better?
I have the same problem with the Tru last but going down half a size is a little too snug at the toes. Have you at least tried on the half size lower? The problem with C width is finding one available and returnable.

I'm similar (11.5d barrie, although I go E width if I intend to only wear with thicker winter socks).
I tried indy on w/ 11E and 11.5C, C width would have been best (had I bought them), as 11 was a touch too tight up at the toes YMMV
CXL indy will stretch like crazy though, so a little discomfort in the beginning might transition into a great wearing pair.
separately, shameless plug for some 11.5 pairs I have for sale

You can stretch width, but you can't stretch length. But a half size shorter won’t stretch in length, right? Any stretching in a tight toe box will just result in the boot developing a bulbous toe, correct?
I have a tendency to prefer snug shoes when I’m trying them on, but that just results in tight shoes after a day’s wear and bumps showing where my toes are pushing out over time. That’s why I’m so leery of buying anything smaller than my true size.
For example, my beeswax desert boots are too small and you can definitely make out where my pinky toes push out and my big toes push up. I’d hate an expensive pair of Indy’s to develop the same telltales.
I'd recommend snagging it; shagging may make it non-returnable!

Don't do business with Pelle Line in NJ.
They are totally liars. They took $4000 for preorder for 5 pairs of tanker boots 4 month ago, stating that tanker will be delivered in March. So far I receive nothing. I asked them refund $4000, they refused. So I called my credit card company Chase to dispute. Today I received a mail from Chase showing me the proof from Pelle Line. They forge the receipt and delivery proof. Luckily, I have the email from Pelle Line that can prove they are lying.
Can you image this happened when you place an deposit? Be careful ,guys! Ask for receipt of any charge and stay away with Pelle Line. BTW, any layer in our forum who can tell us how to protect us in this situation?
