Correct. Cigar shell. I think a good representation of cigar that came out in 2012 ish timeframe. I like a more rounded toe but these are good with slacks and sport coat
Hi. I actually got these from the buy and sell section here. I believe they are Alden of DC. They are on commando. I am nit near them to check but I think from the 2012 run
Congrats. I find the Grant last pretty comfortable. Good with slack and jeans. I like how #8 (and all shell) patinas over timeI have a pair of those #8 cap toe 4060’s with commando and speed hooks coming from Alden DC on the way. Must be the same make up as yours. Should arrive on Thursday. More excited about these than I’ve been about a shoe purchase in a long time.
What is the color difference between the two? I haven’t seen any cognac in person and internet pictures typically don’t help much.I believe he's referring to the cognac tankers from Brogue. Similar to the B&M makeup but w/ gold eyelets and in cognac vs. burnished tan.
As you might guess, a healthy reddish tone vs. more of a straight tan with some depth from the burnish. What is the color difference between the two? I haven’t seen any cognac in person and internet pictures typically don’t help much.

Yes, I was meaning the ones from Brogue - sorry if I misinterpreted that.

I wore mine today.
It is quirky. I have better luck on my iPad and iPhone over IE. sometimes refreshing the browser after you’ve clicked on the shoe you want to look at brings the details up.Okay this is probably just me, but I need to ask. Is anyone else having issues with the B+M web page? When I click on a model that I like, I cannot scroll on the the detail popup (for lack of a better term). Therefore, it makes it impossible to view the most important information like how much and what sizes are available. When I use the mouse wheel or scrollbar, it is scrolling the page behind the popup. I've tried chrome and IE. I swear it was working for me maybe last week? Anyway, it is providing me with much frustration.
