Went with my first "exotic" shell pair of Alden tonight; Cigar LWBs from AoC (circa 2011). They look more like a shade of ravello, but still love'em.

Those Cigars are looking very nice and have a fantastic shine on them!

really, did that change recently? I consider myself lucky then for the pair I got awhile back.

Did you buy them from him directly or was that an indirect acquisition? When I talked to him on the phone, he didn't seem too keen on shipping to the US, I think due to Alden policy.

I think they were a direct purchase. payment processed through the store etc.
