I really hope tht they do. I have brown and olive, and could really use black. Debating gettign a pair of the zipper ones, which look cool, but could potentially be incredibly uncomfortable, especially since I ride this desk for a good part of the day.

Has anyone had a chance to lay hands on anything from AiE yet? I'm curious on about fit/sizing, quality, etc. but none of the local Nepenthes stockists here in LA picked it up. In fact, I haven't seen or hear about anyone outside Japan picking it up outside of the NepenthesNY.

All the stuff on their webstore has sizing information. Can't speak for quality, but my assumption is that it is somewhere along the lines of rough and tumble given their pricing.

Ok, this confirmed what I thought. It's crazy how commercial things can get because of random celebrity stylists/endorsements.

7 cut shirt and track pants are way overhyped. If you can get for around Japan retail they are a decent deal.

One season, not too long ago, The Bureau's only Needles buy appeared to be the track pants and matching track tops- they sat for ages, untouched and I'm pretty sure they ended up in the sale. It's amazing the hype that surrounds those track pants, just because of a couple of rappers/ 'influencers'. I don't even really see the appeal, particularly because of that butterfly logo.

A lot of people are sheep? How is this news to anyone? I did consider buying a pair of the track pants to chill in, but I didn't know at that time that ASAP and... whoever that other dude is, were wearing them. I liked a 70s old Adidas look, and zipped hip pockets, and even the butterfly. But I had no idea that a rapper was, at the moment I was considering them, making them crazy popular.

I'm not sure what you mean by "that great". If you mean by some objective, but in this case, meaningless, measure of "quality", sure. But as an iconic piece of clothing, I would say that the old trefoil Adidas track pants are pretty great. Is this particular homage to them that great? I'd say that they were pretty cool. Great is probably overstating the case.

I think the sweats and flannels fit with the zeitgeist too. Like Gucci doing retro sweats (and 70s inspired stuff in general). And hype streetwear dudes being big on flannels (from Off White etc.)
