(Also, you had me over here trying out heel cups on a couple pair I have that gape on the top line.)

I used heel pads too, since I have the same problem. Try varying sizes to see which works for you. So far the 10mm thickness seems to work for me. The insole arch supports you find online are to clunky for dress shoes, so I recommend staying away from those but to each their own.

Nice. Is there a particular brand/model you have found that you like?

These are quite comfortable, almost unnoticeable when I have them in. I have cork ones coming tomorrow, I'll let you know how those feel.

I got 2 "free" heel pads whenever I bought tongue pad on Amazon:

Those are heel grips, are they not???

My OT lazyman is back from the patina maestro Hancore (check his IG, you can win a free patina). I absolutely love what he did to fix the facing area and then blend in that same purple throughout the dark grey base patina.

I also just received the Minden split toe loafer from Yeossal. I asked them to remove the strings and then do a custom patina based on Meccariello’s amber patina. Also absolutely in love with how these turned out.

what’s odd to me is that they nailed the custom patina request for the Y, but something got lost in translation for the OT.

Anyway, here are some unboxing photos for now.

that looks good, a bit purple a bit red and a bit black?
Thanks man! I had asked OT to make the facing and elastic area look like GG Margaux patina and make it very subtle. It came back with a super bold contrast red/purple. Hancore did an amazing job on my Winson so I hired him to fix these up.

This is the photo I sent to OT for inspiration. 35C1B2FA-0C2A-4655-BC3C-0D12BB71C6D4.png
And then this was the result before getting it fixed.
