If memory serves, Marini's shoes were approaching ~3000€ about 5 years ago. Any idea what the Furuhata's sell for?
Don't know. He has an email address on his site though

can't speak to the quality or anything but would you mind elaborating why you like this particular shoe? looks like an ordinary and "ok" looking derby to me.
Nice pair. I know that Wayman is kind of a MTM outfit. Do they do anything with regard to the insole/did you send stampings of your feet or notes on that? Or is it kind of a standard shoe with stiffeners but not much work with the actual bottom of your foot.Maiden Voyage. These are my second pair from Wayman Bespoke. The fit is really dialing in, especially the instep/waist area.

Yeah I was more curious about the bottom of the last and what if anything they take into consideration on that part.Yeah, he calls it remote bespoke. It's not "real" bespoke per se.
You get in contact with him, and he guides you through the process. You trace your feet and take the measurement, and send them to him. They make the last and do a trial shoe. I ended up doing 2 trial shoes. They have some default toe shoes, but I had my toe shape adjusted from the default. You can read more about it on the website.
It is as close to bespoke as you can get without meeting in person. This is my second pair and the fit is pretty spot-on, so the system works pretty well.
This is similar to what I’m doing with T. Shirakashi in Japan. I went for seamless derbies in suede. Prototypes are done, next step is the trial shoe. Here are a few pics:Yeah, he calls it remote bespoke. It's not "real" bespoke per se.
