@ntempleman someone should photoshop a poster for Lobbs and Shaw.Toronto October 16th- Border is closed for everyone excluding the man we all so admire ??
Cleverley put. Better a roundhouse kick than a Glasgow kiss.Mr Statham can roundhouse kick a man’s head clean off his shoulders so he can wear what he likes around whomsoever he chooses
“Suffice to say, to the people he hunted for us, he was known as the Blobb Man. There'd be nothing but jungle, then a blobby toe shape... Then you'd be dead!” https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116421/characters/nm0004051If you ever see the stamp of “LOBB” in the middle of a bevelled waist it’ll be too late for you
Any thoughts on "Irish Flax Felt"? Do you think it is a good substitute for cork?Didn't wait for the reply. Went back to their webpage and just placed an order with them--32"x5'.=$14.95 + $15.00 shipping. Should be a good trial amount.
Wow, that first pair is incredible. Who is the maker? The most obvious two are the big creases on both inner side of the shoes and you can see the silhouette between the instep & vamp is not smooth, that's a sign showed that the instep is probably too low. The pics below are my bespoke pairs from two different Japanese makers and I think they fitted pretty well, FYR

He had an exclusive bootmaker on Little St James IslandI can make an educated guess as to Prince Andrew’s shoemaker
Right shoe looks like it has a lot more twist than the left shoe.
Thanks man, it’s by Masaru OkuyamaWow, that first pair is incredible. Who is the maker?
Back to some actual great bespoke shoes by great people (cross post from the Japanese shoe thread): A bunch of pics of my third pair from Main d'Or / Eiji Murata (much more in the article on the blog). A slightly special wingtip, with more discrete single rows of punching. The leather is a reddish brown vintage box calf from the Italian tannery Ilcea. Great fit - incredibly well-made. The smoothness of the edge finishing, the distinct upper welt finishing even with the tight 16 spi sole stitching (actual stitches, not dimples, counted and confirmed), the perfect stitching and punching of the upper, the extra narrow waist, and so on, and so on. Very happy with these!
