Quartet of bespoke pairs from R. Maftei

Three new pairs from the other Maftei, Alexandru:

First of all, a pair of Chuckas made of very nice, soft, short-pile suede.
They are double-stitched ("zwiegenaeht"), and I noticed the seam is very tidily stitched.

And then a pair of sportier, firmer suede shoes as “one-piece seamless wholecuts”.
Also beautifully double-stitched with a more sturdy outsole:

Got a pair of lazyman oxfords in vintage pigskin from the Italian maker Calzoleria Carlino, bespoke done remotely. After two fittings the end result actually turned out really great. A bunch of photos below, much more pics and info on my blog for those interested.

My latest bespoke commission from Calzoleria Carlino. The leather used is a dead stock English waxed suede.

This are aging really well ! Can’t wait to finish your new pair in vintage pigskin aswell.
Hopefully we can meet for a tagliolini al tartufo when they will be ready! 😂
