I think she's swamped with work. The PTB group hasn't even received their invoices yet. Or at least I haven't received mine yet.
Thanks watch. I was just curious if she ended up accepting the orders. I'm sure this poor woman is swamped!

No news yet :( Crossing fingers. I'm going to try getting through on the phone today.
Thanks for the update rostov. Wishful thinking i might get them around christmas with the cordovan trunk show order. Realistically dont think they will come in until mid January the earliest.

It's my understanding that the later trunk show orders are targeted mid-January, so I would think late-Jan is realistic.

Thanks Andy. I figured as much. I ordered from the first trunk show so hopefully those will make it in time for the holidays.

I did as well, and was told we should see them the week of 12/22. Although I'm hoping to see them sooner, as most (I stress most, as some waited quite a while) of the recent GMTOs showed up earlier than expected. Every time the FedEx truck pulls up in front of my office, I'm looking to see if he has an AE box in his hands!

Just curious, has anyone else still waiting for the EC Merlot from many moons ago? Received invoice 2 months ago.

Thanks

My order confirmation was dated October 3 and I got mine Monday or Tuesday of this week. Surely you'll be getting yours soon.

BTW, for anyone contemplating the Long Branch MTO whose doesn't already own anything comparable, I'd urge you to jump on it. I love my stock CXL version or I would. Comfy, you don't have to baby it (unless you want), and I think it looks pretty good for a non-dress boot.

I actually get comments from strangers. Always complimentary but not always welcome comments. The day they arrived at my office I met my wife for pizza later. Thought I'd wear them. I guess I must have "forgotten" to tell her about my order because when a waitress from another table came over and told me she loved my boots, I kind of got The Look. (Or it might have been the waitresses' tank top she didn't care for. I'm not sure.)

Anyway, I think the Dublin will be great on that boot.

Indeed. They are very impressive.
I actually initially fell for this style when seeing Carmina's version at Epaulet.
Yours were Ardsley Park webgem IIRC? What's the chance of them resurfacing on AE website?.
Meanwhile, I accidentally ran into these on Charles Tyrwhitt's website. It says they are made in Northamptonshire, England. I vaguely recollecting some comments on SF that Loake makes shoes for CT. For $315, they are not much cheaper than Carmina.

I'ld be up for doing a GMTO for something like this in a brown, bourbon or saddle, natural shell or brown sheell.
Who else?

For the tan dublin Long Branch discussion...

Here is a recent Odenwald in chestnut dublin next to a chili Dalton.

I'm still waiting on my navy pair.
I still don't have my Bayfield. I've got 2 of my ECs.

So there are a few people discussing darker colors for the Long Branch. I'm not ready to change it up yet as I still really like the Tan Dublin, but while I've been looking for examples of the tan color dublin learther, I keep running across the name "Cognac."

If y'all end up going with a darker color, you can count me in.
