This is going to seem odd but here goes, I have a pair of 405 Indy boots in 9D, I have come to find that 8.5D is the size that fits me best. I'm thinking about selling the 9's, and purchasing the 8.5's. Do you guys think that $225 for a pair of 405's, worn but not abused is overpriced?

Thanks, will more than likely be listing them in the next couple of days then. They were my first pair of Alden, my gateway drug as it were, but have found that Alden of SanFrancisco and I got the size 1/2 off. They just are not dead on for sizing, so ......

Reduced the price on these 12D snuff cap-toes. They're on the Hampton last with leather soles. They're in very nice shape - probably 20 wears total and the kind of sublime comfort you expect of Alden suede. I dig 'em, but they're fighting for wears and space, so I'd like to pass them along to a good home. If you want more pix/etc., please let me know.

On a side note. My wife had a spinning instructor who gave his first born a unique name: Danger. For the rest of his life, he can tell everyone: “Danger is my middle name!”

Thank you my friend! Danger is a cool middle name and he can use it to his advantage. My wife works at a hospital and in the maternity ward, someone actually named their daughter Female (pronounced FeeMaLee) that was a poor choice of name.
