Narrow heel, lower instep, nice amount of room in ball/toe area. Most size 0.5 down from brannock

I have a pair of Aberdeen boots in 8.5E with a good feeling heel, but the toe box is pretty tight with dress socks.

I don't own Aberdeen, but it's my understanding that it's narrow as you move towards to the toe box and it's typically a true to brannock last

Pretty much correct, I go down a bit in Aberdeen for loafers, but like a tight fit on loafers.

Not sure I'd say TB's heel is narrow personally. It's pretty generous all over except instep

TB does NOT have a narrow heel, 379 maybe, but TB Nope.

Second Vocans and Audog. Trubalance does wide in heel (see alden last comparison), but I personally found a tighter heel fit in TB than barrie for my slim heel.

I think that’s because TB has an elongated heel counter.

There is a little more creasing than i'd like obviously, but i guess that is unavoidable. The gold lettering inside is perfect which is how i tend to judge how much a shoe is worn.
