Tempura Sushi

I never have been a big Tempura fan. I have had a soft shell crab roll where the crab was probably fried somehow. It was very good. I like almost every type of sushi/sashimi. Not crazy about tako, though. Do like uni, especially fresh (but extremely hard to find here in the USA). There is also a certain way I've had hotategai which has spoiled me for any other way: chopped up and mixed with mayonnaise and fish roe (flying fish probably) and stuffed onto seaweed wrapped rice. Slightly sweet and also salty. Excellent!

Not mentioned yet, in the comfort food category I absolutely love sukiyaki (especially in the winter) and yakisoba (I know my wife makes fun of me....

)

I'm also a fan of chawanmushi, which is a little bit of an acquired taste. Never got used to natto though - and my in-laws have tried many times to convert me (they eat this every morning) - it tastes almost as bad as it smells

As far as I understand, no. Only people under 22 can have two citizenships but after that age have to choose one

My kids are dual. They love it because when we fly into Narita they can point and laugh (cue Nelzon Muntz) at their gaijin dad who waits in the immigration line while they breeze through in the fast lane.
