Not necessarily. The Frying Fish in Little Tokyo is well-known by my stomach for their Las Vegas roll: an entire California roll dipped in tempura, sliced, and then covered in sweet eel sauce.
I agree, I find American cheese, especially Velveeta, to be much more palatable than its european counterparts. I bet those troglodites still use real animal milk! How barbaric!
