First step would not be to choose a supplier... there are literally millions of companies using the same ones + slapping logos on the same tees. First step would be to learn to sew + actually design clothes, second step would be to make some concept pieces to show the general direction of your brand....

Yes, it's horrible, this idea.

i thinky ou should start by making stuff for your own wardrobe and if people are digging it THEN consider making your own line for others to purchase

I don't know if this place is the best place to get the answers you're looking for, being a.) most people here aren't really interested in graphic tees, and b.) I don't think many people here, myself included, know anything about clothing manufacturing. That being said, you seem like a good guy and I think if you gave us some descriptions/ideas about your potential products some people could definitely help you out.

I have my mascot in place and my design has wide ranging design ideas ala Undrcrwn less the sports references. I'm a big fan of Undrcrwn, The Hundreds and Undftd. I like those because of their uniqueness and how just about every shirt has it's on identity. Almost as if the tee is not from the same company. I admire that.

I am actually looking to take some classes to get more familiar with the process. Thanks.

That is my initial marketing strategy. Also, I have a relative who is a radio personality and I will use him as well. Free of charge too.

This blows my mind as well. People love **** apparently, people love **** and female mouths on shirts?

OP unless you have original ideas people are not going to give a ****. And by "original ideas" I mean actually startlingly different ideas, not just female mouths and breasts, cartoon mascots, or cynical looking Looney Toons characters counting out stacks of hundred dollar bills.

The Hundreds already has brand cachet for some reason, you are going to be starting without any consumer loyalty at all. You can't make any money by doing the exact same thing as someone else unless you're that band who did that song "Fireflies" that I kept hearing a few months ago. Which **** them anyway.

The Hundreds has that cachet because they are startlingly different. Not every design is hot and unique but they have a distinctive approach that works. I am definitely not trying to emulate them but I do dig their approach.

I was thinking you should do workwear inspired graphics. Maybe 19th century coal miner inspired.

Out of curiosity, what's the name of the business?

I think having a t-shirt with an athletic fit is a good start. Everything is made for fat people nowadays. Eliminating the floppy sleeves that go down to the elbow and substituting a slimmer sleeve that only covers the shoulder would be a revolutionary idea. Imagine, a short sleeve t-shirt that actually has short sleeves! Then maybe a short enough body that it could be worn untucked without looking like a dress.
