Ok, let's say I wanted to take in the chest of a jacket 1.5-2". Is this a normal procedure for a tailor? Or is it one of those that, like the shoulder alteration, people tend to scoff at?
I had all my jackets taken in the chest about 3''. My impression is that if the shoulders fit - it is easy to do.
