Tailoring Quilted Jackets

Hey Everyone,

Was at Bloomingdales a few weeks ago and tried on this jacket and instantly fell in love.

The large fit me perfectly everywhere; however, the arms were slightly too long.

I'm trying to find out if tailoring quilted jackets are recommended, and if so, should it be done in-store at BB or at any reputable tailor (NYC area).
