Just got a Linen Jacket (off-white) from Banana republic and was thinking of pairing it with a pair of Levi's 501s and black wing-tips. Would that look good?

I'm not sure I would wear black wing tips with jeans period, regardless of what I was wearing up top. Adding linen makes it worse- linen is better paired with earth tones in my experience (btw, "off-white" in BR terms is probably closer to a light beige).

I'd try suede chukkas, personally, but that's just my opinion.

Those shoes are aweful. I'd stay away from Rockport, Cole Haan, Kenneth Cole, Aldo, and the like.

I'd like to see a pic of the jacket and jeans. There are different jean washes and this can make world of difference.

Sperry (SF Approved) makes some nice boat shoes or alternatively a brown oiled leather oxford that, I guess, would look nice. You can always wear dirty bucks too.

I am not a fan of black shoes for any time, and not with jeans. I would go with something brown or tan.

I am a fan of black shoes and boots. However I would not pair them with a beige/off-white jacket and some light blue jeans. When wearing dress shoes casually it's better to stick to ankle boots at first so just get a nice, sleek pair in either brown or tan suede or similar colours in calf.
