It's just the reverse side. A full grain suede should be just durable, plus less likely to get scuffed

Well it is inside out. Not sure if that's why it seems to be more pliable and liable to stretch. But since density isn't uniform I would imagine that pushing out from the dense to the less dense side may make it less durable in some situations.

Reverse suedes also tend to be more likely to unlined which may effect things.

But agree it's likely not a huge consideration.

How many years of service you should expect from a pair of suede shoes compared to full-grain leather shoes? In my understanding, suede still is considered to be cheaper and lower grade leather but usually priced similarly compared to other leather grades. The looks are definitely there but the durability has kept me away from suede game so far.
